Hearing Care Assistants – support that makes a difference
As a Hearing Care Assistant (HCA) at Scrivens, you’ll be a key member of our hearing care team, supporting customers throughout their journey – from initial assessments and fittings to follow-up care.
In this role you’ll assist our Hearing Aid Audiologists with hearing assessments and aftercare. Provide guidance on hearing aid use, maintenance and lifestyle considerations. You’ll build trusted relationships with patients and their families, assisting with fittings, repairs and ongoing support for hearing aids. You’ll also help manage appointments, maintain accurate records and contribute to patient satisfaction.

Trainee Hearing Care Assistants – start your journey with confidence
If you’re new to hearing care, our Trainee Hearing Care Assistant programme offers everything you need to build a successful, rewarding career from the ground up.
Through expert training, hands-on learning and the support of our experienced team, you’ll be helping customers in no time. You’ll learn to assist with hearing assessments, fittings and customer support. You’ll provide excellent service across both customer care and administrative tasks while gaining confidence alongside qualified Hearing Aid Audiologists and HCAs.
You’ll develop the clinical and communication skills you need to thrive in this field. Wax Removal Technicians – specialist skills, personal impact
As a Wax Removal Technician, you’ll provide a vital service that helps customers feel more comfortable, enhances their hearing and improves their quality of life.
Working in a professional clinical setting, you’ll use micro-suction and/or irrigation techniques to deliver safe and effective wax removal. Your role will involve carrying out ear examinations, assessing the suitability for wax removal and performing ear wax removal procedures using approved methods.
You’ll provide aftercare advice and follow-up support, maintain accurate records and uphold the highest safety standards. But most importantly, you’ll help customers feel at ease throughout their experience.
