Branch Managers – inspire and grow

Branch Managers at Scrivens are confident, caring leaders who balance commercial acumen with a passion for delivering outstanding service. In this role, you’ll lead from the front – motivating your team, supporting professional colleagues and ensuring every customer receives expert eye and hearing care.

You’ll be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a customer-focused team, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of your branch. You’ll drive the success of your branch through strong sales performance, exceptional service and active community engagement. Maintaining high standards of both clinical and commercial excellence will be part of your daily focus.

You’ll also build long-term relationships with customers and your local community, becoming a trusted and familiar face. Commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset is essential, along with a passion for delivering service that goes above and beyond expectations.

Assistant Branch Managers – the first step into leadership

As an Assistant Branch Manager at Scrivens, you’ll take on a key role in supporting your branch’s success while developing your own leadership skills. Working closely with the Branch Manager, you’ll help drive team performance, ensure smooth operations and contribute to the delivery of personal, attentive care for every customer.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with the day-to-day running of the branch, supporting and motivating your team to reach their potential and ensuring that all aspects of service and merchandising run smoothly. You’ll also step up to act as the branch lead when required, gaining hands-on leadership experience and preparing yourself for your next career step.

To thrive in this role you will have a passion for helping others that will set you apart as you work toward shared success with the wider branch team.
